I moved back home after a few years away, and I realized I'd lost contact with everyone I knew in the area — I had zero friends.
I tried putting myself out there, but I never really found anyone I connected with. All of the usual friendship-finding apps relied on algorithms to match people up, which I'm not a fan of. I knew there had to be a better way.
